Waste of time and money

Hubby took Pippin to the Groomers yesterday and because we were going to a party in the afternoon he decided to walk her there and back so she would be a bit calmer
On the way home he let her off the lead so she could have a run around the field at which point she jumped straight into the brook!
He came home with a very wet, dirty and stinky dog!
When I asked him why he let a water loving Labrador who had just been groomed off her lead by the brook he replied "I did tell her she couldn't go in but she just barked at me and went in anyway!"

MEN!!!

Yeah, but that only costs £5!
Why he thought it would be a good idea to let her off on the way HOME I still don't understand... on the way there would of been fine but no, he kept he on the lead then!
Oh and Alec's look of indignation when he was telling me how Pip didn't listen when he told her not to go in the brook was hilarious

That'll be the labrador selective deafness - both mine have got it When they've done whatever it is you've told them not to do they give you that look that says 'oh, sorry - did you mean me?'

Yeah, I know she's not a big fan of being groomed (its the clippers ) but needs must for Nathan's asthma!
