ARound the ALwen reservoir 6 1/2 miles of woods and moors with no livestock grazing other than for one very short section. EAsy path by the water dogs under control are able to roam happily.
Brenig reservoir bearby. 10 1/2 miles but leads required sa it has a lot of livestock around at times. Still a lovely walk.

Clocaenog forest: too many miles to mention through beautiful forest trails and easy arking generally. Don't miss the Prezwalskis horses or red squirels.
